Christian Bale takes a rough ride through the world of show business in the moody trailer for Terrence Malick’s Knight of Cups, which also co-stars Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman.

The cue “Kick Your Teeth” from the Drive soundtrack was used in the first section of the trailer, setting the perfect mood for this surreal and intriguing ride through Terrence Malick’s latest directorial effort.

Alan Rickman directs the historical drama A Little Chaos, which centres around the court of France’s King Louis XIV and stars Kate Winslet as a gifted gardener.

The music for this trailer needed to reflect the magical atmosphere and magnificent landscapes of the 17th century gardens, and CORD Worldwide produced two tracks with this goal in mind.

CORD (a Cutting Edge Company) produced the main theme for the worldwide theatrical trailer for The Theory Of Everything. The film stars Eddie Redmayne and tells the story of Stephen Hawking’s incredible life. The trailer captures the essence of his amazing journey, and chronicles the relationship between Stephen Hawking and his first wife, Jane.

For this gritty and intriguing art-house film starring Forest Whitaker and Harvey Keitel, Cutting Edge was asked to do an exciting remake of “The Maid Freed from the Gallows” for the French trailer. Made famous by Led Zeppelin’s cover, this centuries-old folk song revolves around a condemned maiden pleading for someone to buy her freedom from the executioner.

The goal for this project was to provide a sinister yet rousing edge to the final act of the trailer. The version recorded by Cutting Edge manages to create a wonderfully Southern atmosphere thanks to a stripped-down arrangement, consisting of gritty blues guitar and edgy, Americana-inspired vocals.
